PADI Master Scuba Diver

The PADI Master Scuba Diver is the highest rating of recreational diving in the PADI system. PADI Master Scuba Diver belong to the best of the best in recreational scuba diving, who want to live the dive lifestyle and have acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments.

You will be appointed as a PADI Master Scuba Diver on request. To take this step you should contact your PADI Instructor, who fills in the application together with you and submits it to PADI.

Requirements for becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver:

  • Minimum 12 years old
  • Certified as PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
  • Certified as PADI Rescue Diver
  • Certified as PADI Specialty Diver in (minimum) five PADI Specialty Diver courses
  • 50 logged open water dives
